Show Notes

God is everywhere.

When you’re sitting by a creek

bubbling in between rocks along the way.

When you wake up on an ordinary day.

When the sun is shining through your window at work or play.

When you are up on the mountain or in the valley below.

.

Words of wisdom to remember

God knows and goes where you go.

God is in the sunshine and even in the rain.

God is with you all the way.

.

When nothing is working out as you planned.

When you feel all alone.

Remember that isn’t so.

In the hard times when you feel low,

Remember God stays with you and will never go.

.

In all the sights and sounds, God shines through.

He makes a rainbow after the rain.

He is with you. • Ruth Stephan

.

• Read Psalm 139:7-12 and Jeremiah 23:23-24. What do you think it means
that God is everywhere? (Some theologians use the word “omnipresent” to
describe this attribute of God.)

.

• If you know Jesus, God is with you personally (see our “Know Jesus” page
for more about this). How can looking at the beautiful things God has
created in nature remind us of His presence with us?

.

“Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?” says the Lord. Jeremiah
23:24 (NLT)
